EMR improves youth employment opportunities with donation to Iconic Steps
EMR Wandsworth, based on Pensbury Place, has joined forces with Iconic Steps to support their employability skills programme.

Iconic Steps, founded in 2012, supports young people from diverse backgrounds who find themselves marginalised through no fault of their own, in finding employment opportunities. The social enterprise takes a holistic approach to their development support, offering both industry specific training and life skills workshops.
EMR’s donation to the local social enterprise will enable more 16 to 25-year-olds to attend their employability skills programme. The programme offers young people mentoring and practical experience on commissioned projects, as well as workshops covering resilience, personal finance, email etiquette and CV writing.
The donation was given as part of EMR’s Young Futures Reimagined programme. Launched in 2020, the programme aims to support young people up and down the country, who are impacted by circumstances beyond their control, to build a brighter future.
Faron Llewellyn, Operations Manager at EMR Wandsworth said:
"The transition into employment can be a challenging time for many and real world experience can be hard to come across. Iconic Steps offers an invaluable opportunity for young people to gain skills and experience which they can take forward into their adult life."
“I look forward to working with Victoria and the team at Iconic Steps and witnessing the positive impact that this donation will have on young people.”
Iconic Steps CEO, Victoria Ijeh, added:
“We are thankful to EMR for their support and look forward to working together to empower young people to reach their full potential.”
