The Valley Project benefits from support of local metal recycler, EMR

EMR Bradford, based on Planetrees Road, has donated £1,000 to local charity, The Valley Project: who offer outdoor activities for young people suffering from inequality and social isolation.

The Valley Project, which has supported the local community since 2018, offers a safe outdoor space for young people to develop social skills, emotional confidence and problem solving skills, and enjoy nature. Young people are given the tools they need to enjoy the outdoors, escape day-to-day life, and develop relationships with their peers.

EMR, having previously supported The Valley Project in 2020, offered an additional donation which will allow young people to access the charity’s services for a year, covering the cost of equipment, food and drink.

The donation has been given as part of EMR’s Young Futures Reimagined programme, which was developed to support the communities in which the business operates. By partnering with local charities, EMR aims to enable young people to access opportunities they may not otherwise have, ultimately helping them to build a brighter future.
