Situated in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, EMR Smethwick is ideally located to serve customers in the West Midlands. We have excellent accessibility to the motorway network via the M6 and M5. All customers and visitors should report to the Charles Street site office, off Downing Street. Parking is adjacent to the site entrance.
WHAT WE BUY AT Smethwick
Commercial or household we buy all grades of ferrous metals including iron, cast iron, steel, wrought iron, scrap cars, and welcome domestic goods from large home appliances such as washing machines, dryers and ovens to small goods e.g. toasters, power tools, vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers.
Our yard handles all grades and volumes of non-ferrous metal including aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, lead, nickel, stainless steel, tin, titanium, zinc, alloys and more. So whether you have surplus cable, piping, taps, water tanks, boilers and more we buy it all.
We buy all makes and models of scrap car, roadworthy or not.

Catalytic converters are not purchased separately at this Depot but are purchased at EMR’s Depot’s in Darlaston and Kingsbury.
As a fully licensed ATF we scrap your car in an environmentally friendly way and contact DVLA to deregister your vehicle.
