Your visit to EMR IES
Before you arrive
As this is a working site, with heavy machinery regularly moving around, please take a minute to review the instructions below, so we can make sure your visit is safe and straightforward.
Safety equipment
Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots are required. If you have your own PPE, please bring it with you. If not, please get in touch and we can provide it for you.
Getting to site
We are located off Union Rd, which can be accessed from Roway Lane. This is the only route in and out of Oldbury and IES, so it can be busy with wagons and large vehicles - please take care. The approach road can also get a little overgrown at times.

Approaching the entrance
The entrance to IES is on your left, partway down Union Road, past the entrance to Oldbury separation. It can be busy, so please take extra care when turning in.
Keep your speed to 10mph, keep right, and head towards the weighbridge.
Parking and reception
Once through the gates, the car park is directly to your right.
The car park exit intercom is on the right of the door, or you can call us on 0121 552 6278 and we will come to greet you.
This is an operational site, so please take care when crossing the road to the building.
