The partnership, which was developed as part of EMR’s Young Futures Reimagined programme, aimed at building bright futures for young people, will provide two pop-up events for young people in Sunderland’s city centre.

Joanne Laverick, Project Manager at Youth Almighty commented on the partnership:

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with EMRs Young Futures Reimagined programme. The support provided will ensure that young people in the city centre are offered an alternative to anti-social or criminal behaviour. Young people will be given the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities and learn new skills.”

James Wood, EMR Sunderland Operations Manager said:

“The work of Youth Almighty really does deserve recognition - that’s why we chose to support them through EMR’s Young Futures Reimagined programme. Right across Sunderland, Youth Almighty does fantastic work through sports and activities, holiday clubs, disability support and more. Their work is helping prevent antisocial behaviour, encouraging positive friendships and enables young people to learn new skills and access new experiences”
