EMR Willesden is located down a private road which can be accessed via Scrubs Lane. The depot’s main entrance gate is approximately 400 metres down the private road from Scrubs Lane. There is a weight restriction bridge (18 ton) via the A40 all other large vehicles can access Scrubs Lane through Harlesden via the A404.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Once you have turned onto the private road follow the road down and over the railway tracks until you have reached our yellow main entrance gates. The visitor’s car park will be on your left hand side and is sign posted. All customers please stop in front of the inn weighbridge and wait for the green traffic light before proceeding onto the weighbridge. Please adhere to the 4mph speed limit for our radiation detectors to scan your vehicle. Once you are on the weighbridge report to the weighbridge operator in the office. Our weighbridge operator will inspect your material and produce a weighbridge ticket before giving you further instructions on where to tip your load. Once you have entered the yard please follow all safety signs and instructions, do not exit your vehicle until it is safe and you have been instructed to do so.

Commercial or household we buy all grades of ferrous metals including iron, cast iron, steel, wrought iron, scrap cars, and welcome domestic goods from large home appliances such as washing machines, dryers and ovens.

We do not buy small WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) eg toasters, power tools, vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers. Our nearest depot that buys this material is at our Brentford Ferrous depot:

Scrap cars
We buy all makes and models of scrap cars, roadworthy or not.
As a fully licensed ATF we scrap your car in an environmentally friendly way and contact DVLA to deregister your vehicle.

We do not buy car batteries or catalytic converters at our Willesden depot. Our nearest depot that buys this material is at our Brentford Non-Ferrous depot:

FRIDGE FREEZERS: EMR Willesden is a fully licensed ATF and will recycle your fridge freezer in an environmentally friendly way. Our dedicated fridge recycling plant can accept any domestic fridge freezer. General public please call us to discuss disposal cost of your fridge freezer. If you are a business and need to dispose of your fridge freezer please call us to discuss as all fridge freezers are classified as hazardous waste and need to be accompanied with the correct paperwork eg Hazardous waste consignment note. We also require commercial fridges to be dismantled into specific sizes.
