ON ARRIVAL
When entering the docks from the B4066, at the roundabout turn right onto Bridge Road. After crossing the two speed ramps you will see the large green steel fencing of EMR on the left hand side of the road. If you are bringing ferrous metals, please report to the weighbridge office on arrival. The weighbridge office is at the top of the building, access is via the first doorway on the right. There is a sign above this door saying 'Weighbridge upstairs'.
All non-ferrous customers should report directly to our non-ferrous entrance, highlighted with the large red gates which are located on the left hand side as you approach the depot.

Scrap vehicles (ELVs)

Cables
Large domestic appliances — Cookers / ovens, dishwashers, tumble dryers, washing machines
UPVC window frames (glass and kick panels removed)
The following items cannot be accepted at EMR Sharpness:
Fridges, freezers
Beer kegs / casks
Dairy trolleys / cages
Sealed cylinders — unless they have come through authorised routes
Shopping trolleys
Pay, your way
Getting paid for recycling should be simple and fast. At EMR you can choose from payment direct to your bank from your customer portal, or get paid instantly with the SecOre card. Spend anywhere Mastercard is accepted, withdraw cash at ATMs, or withdraw on-site at selected EMR yards.
Please note: Charges apply for BACS transfer, on-site ATM transactions, and adding money to SecOre payment card.
