ON ARRIVAL
The entrance to our yard can be found half way down Dundas Spur on both the right and left side of the road. The main yard and weighbridge is located on the north side of Dundas Spur and the non-ferrous yard on the south side.
If you have any ferrous scrap (mainly iron) please pull onto the weighbridge and report to the weighbridge office. If you have non-ferrous scrap, please report to our non-ferrous section where our team of friendly staff will provide all the help they can. If you are a new customer, please report to the weighbridge first where we can set up your account.

UPVC window frames (glass and kick panels removed)
The following items cannot be accepted at EMR Portsmouth:
Fridges, freezers
Beer kegs / casks
Dairy trolleys / cages
Sealed cylinders — unless they have come through authorised routes
Shopping trolleys

Getting paid for recycling should be simple and fast. At EMR you can choose from payment direct to your bank from your customer portal, or get paid instantly with the SecOre card. Spend anywhere Mastercard is accepted, withdraw cash at ATMs, or withdraw on-site at selected EMR yards.
Please note: Charges apply for BACS transfer, on-site ATM transactions, and adding money to SecOre payment card.
