We are conveniently situated on Harvey Reeves Road, just off St. James Mill Road and opposite Howdens, City Plumbing and Travis Perkins. We’re just 5 minutes from Jct 15A of the M1.
If you have non-ferrous metals or small amounts of ferrous scrap and catalytic converters, please park directly outside the large brick main building. Please avoid parking on the pavement or on the double yellow lines.
At the non-ferrous shed your material weighed in by one of our friendly and knowledgeable team. For larger amounts of ferrous scrap, please wait at the entrance to the left hand weighbridge. When signalled by the traffic lights, park on the left weighbridge and proceed to the weighbridge office situated in the blue cabin on the right hand side. If you are unsure where to go, please park in one of the parking bays along the perimeter brick wall and pop up to the weighbridge office so we can help you find your way. Please note that the last weigh-in is 15 mins before closing time.

UPVC window frames (glass and kick panels removed)
The following items cannot be accepted at EMR Northampton:
Fridges, freezers
Beer kegs / casks
Dairy trolleys / cages
Sealed cylinders — unless they have come through authorised routes
Shopping trolleys
Pay, your way
Getting paid for recycling should be simple and fast. At EMR you can choose from payment direct to your bank from your customer portal, or get paid instantly with the SecOre card. Spend anywhere Mastercard is accepted, withdraw cash at ATMs, or withdraw on-site at selected EMR yards.
Please note: Charges apply for BACS transfer, on-site ATM transactions, and adding money to SecOre payment card.
