A team of EMR’s fittest have raised more than £2,000 for Muscular Dystrophy by completing the famous three peaks challenge, but with an added twist. The charitable group took on the three mountains as their latest fundraising effort for the organisation, which is "dedicated to beating muscle-wasting conditions."
The team managed to climb to the top of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in less than 24 hours, accelerating the challenge by carrying a selection of scrap metal items, including an old copper tank, to the peak of each mountain!
"We received a lot of support from our colleagues and friends at EMR while we were preparing for this adventure and that really helped spur us over the tough weekend. Another great contribution made to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and an all round success!" said EMR challenge organiser Rick.
